NvestWisconsin.com is a website that provides a place for businesses and individuals to raise funds for specified activities by using the power of the internet to market, increase awareness or display information about the activities.
Customers may interact with the site by paying to set up an account with nVestWisconsin and create their own Campaign, browse Projects or make donations.
Donation/rewards: Individuals and businesses will be allowed to collect donated funds from internet consumers. The consumers may be given small rewards for the donation, but consumers should recognize that they are making a donation to the business. There are no sales transactions on this site. Donations may be made and rewards may be given. We are not responsible for either event happening.
You need to be at least eighteen (18) years of age to use this site. As a Creator, we’ll ask for information to prove your age. Using a credit card without permission is a problem for you and us – don’t do it. Further, pretending to be someone else is not a good idea and could be considered identity theft in the right context.
You are agreeing to provide information that is accurate, non-offensive to us and doesn’t violate anyone’s rights.
A “Campaign” or “Project” is an activity performed over a period of time by an individual or business requesting the donation of funds. For our purposes, “Crowdsourcing” refers to Campaigns soliciting donations while “Crowdfunding” refers to the sale of securities.
A “Creator” assembles the Campaign or Project and is responsible for all the information, images, sounds, etc. Collectively, this information is called the “Creator Content.”
A “Donor” browses through the list of Projects and:

3. Creator Responsibilities.
- As a Creator you are acting as the owner of a Project. You are responsible for the content, copyright, intellectual property and accuracy of information posted on nVestWisconsin. Creators are responsible to follow thought and perform on any promise and/or commitment to a Donator throughout this entire process.
You are responsible for the financial implications of a Campaign, including any applicable taxes.
This is a contract between you and the Donators to the Project. nVestWisconsin is not a part of this contract.
- nVestWisconsin is under no obligation to become involved and will not get involved in disputes between Creators and Donors. Be nice people.
4. Donor Responsibilities
As a Donor, you are solely responsible for requesting information, investigating Campaigns, Projects and the teams behind those Projects. You are making a voluntary donation to a Creator. If a creator is running a “Keep it All” campaign. They get to keep your money even if they don’t meet the stated goal.
Rewards are not guaranteed by anyone. Really. You’ve just made a donation.
nVestWisconsin is under no obligation to become involved and will not get involved in disputes between Creators and Donors. Be nice people.
nVestWisconsin does not endorse, guarantee, make representations, or provide warranties for or about the quality, safety, morality or legality of any Campaign, Reward or Donation, or the truth or accuracy of Creator Content posted on the Services.
5. General rules
nVest Wisconsin prides itself on being an easy and elite donation and rewards crowdsourcing website. In order to make sure your dream and our dream are fulfilled successfully, we have a few ground rules for you to follow:
- Causes for individuals.
- Re-selling items.
- Projects cannot offer rewards in bulk quantities of more than ten.
- Cannot be used to fund software projects not run by the developer themselves.
- Self-help material, including books, videos, etc.
- Offensive material (hate speech, etc.), pornographic or prostitution material, or projects endorsing or opposing a political candidate.
- Tobacco, drugs, and drug paraphernalia; energy food and drinks; or nutrition supplements.
- Contests, raffles, coupons, or lifetime memberships.
- Projects that offer genetically modified organisms as a reward.
- Any project that donate.nVestWisconsin determines to be reputational risk to the site.
So, what projects are allowed? Donate.nVest Wisconsin supports pretty much anything else any other campaigns that are in compliance with Wisconsin and federal laws and regulations.
6. Fees and Payments
Pricing will be segmented according to the type of crowdsourcing performed. Creators will pay different pricing models based on the initial setup of the campaign. There are two types of campaigns on donate.nVestWisconsin.
"Keep It All" Campaign is a type of campaign where the Creator will be allowed to keep the donated funds regardless of whether or not the stated goal was achieved. Keep it All campaigns will be charged a 4.5% success fee if the campaign achieves its goal and a 9% fee if it does not. This encourages creators to set realistic goals that ultimately will add to the success of the project.
"All or Nothing Campaign" will be charged a 7% success fee if the campaign is successful.
Third party fees will (3.5%) apply and will be made by providing information to the Third Party Payment Provider and is not controlled by the NvestWisconsin.
7. Disbursements of Funds
If the project is a “Keep it All” project, the funds will be disbursed to the Creator within 14 days after the completion date of the project.
If it is an “All or Nothing” project, the funds will be disbursed to the Creator within 14 days after the completion date of the project, ONLY if the project has reached its stated financial goal.
Applicable fees will be charged.
8. Refund Policy
nVestWisconsin will provide refunds to individuals who donate to All or Nothing Campaigns that do not achieve the stated financial goal. These refunds will be sent within 5 days of the Campaign completion date as stated on the Project summary page.
In a “Keep it All” Campaign, donations; including fees and charges, are not refundable. Creators are responsible for their own ability to fulfill any representation made, promise or commitment to a Donator. While Creators are encouraged to work with the Donators to reach a mutually satisfactory resolution, nVestWisconsin is not responsible for Rewards. Our motto here is “don’t stand between a dog and a fire hydrant.”
9. Links to Other Websites and Third Party Information
nVestWisconsin does contain a number of links to other websites and online resources that are not owned or controlled by nVestWisconsin. All rules, terms and conditions, other policies (including privacy policies) and operating procedures of third-party linked websites will apply to you while on such websites. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or opinions express in such Websites, and such Websites are not investigated, monitored or checked for accuracy or completeness by us. Inclusion of any linked Website on our Site does not imply approval or endorsement of the linked Website by us. This Site and the third-party linked websites are independent entities and neither party has authority to make any representations or commitments on behalf of the other. If you decide to leave our Site and access these third-party linked sites, you do so at your own risk.
10. Intellectual Property and Copyright Issues
Creators and Donors posting any information on nVestWisconsin must receive appropriate permissions on any material that is protected under copyright and intellectual property rights laws.
If a dispute arises between you and another party, it’s not our issue. We are not responsible
11. nVestWisconsin’s Intellectual Property
nVestWisconsin and all of its original content are the sole property of NvestWiconsin, LLC and are, as such, fully protected by the appropriate international copyright and other intellectual property rights laws
The content, organization, graphics, design, and other matters related to the Site are protected under applicable copyrights and other proprietary laws, including but not limited to intellectual property laws. The copying, reproduction, use, modification or publication by you of any such matters or any part of the Site is strictly prohibited, without our express prior written permission.
12. Deleting your account
You have the right to delete your account at any time. However, if you do this during the middle of a Campaign, it will likely create unforeseen issues and expenses for you.
13. Extenuating circumstances.
If you have circumstances that are beyond your control and should be considered by nVestWisconsin, please contact us as soon as possible.
14. Our Rights
We reserve the right in our sole discretion, without any obligation and without any notice requirement to you, to edit or delete any documents, information or other content appearing on the Site, including this Agreement.
15. Warranty Disclaimer
nVestWisconsin cannot guarantee that everything is going to exactly as planned. This site is presented as-is, without warranties. You use our Services solely at your risk.
You and nVestWisconsin recognize and agree that the exchange of information and records between the parties is solely for the purpose of accomplishing the objectives of this Agreement, and may be confidential to the party supplying the information.
nVestWisconsin is not responsible in any way for the content, accuracy or suitability of any Project offered by the Creator. Creators agrees to hold harmless and indemnify nVestWisconsin, and its respective employees, officers and directors (“Indemnified Party or Person”) from all losses, expenses, including attorneys’ fees, and damages that nVestWisconsin or any other Indemnified Party incurs by reason of any claim or action brought against nVestWisconsin or any other Indemnified Person on account of or related to any claim, deficiency or other defect or otherwise related to any of the Creator’s activities or that of its employees or agents.
17. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without respect to its conflict of laws principles.
18. Changes to this Agreement
nVestWisconsin reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We do so by posting and drawing attention to the updated terms on the Site. Your decision to continue to visit and make use of the Site after such changes have been made constitutes your formal acceptance of the new Terms of Service.
Therefore, we ask that you check and review this Agreement for such changes on an occasional basis. Should you not agree to any provision of this Agreement or any changes we make to this Agreement, we ask and advise that you do not use or continue to access the Your Nowhere Town site immediately.
19. Acceptance of Agreement
By using or accessing the Site, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms of Service. You agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this Terms and Conditions of use Agreement (Agreement) with respect to our site (the Site). This Agreement constitutes the entire and only agreement between us and you, and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous agreements, representations, warranties and understandings with respect to the Site, the content, free product samples or freebie offers or services provided by or listed on the Site, and the subject matter of this Agreement. This Agreement may be amended by us at any time and at any frequency without specific notice to you. The latest Agreement will be posted on the Site, and you should review this Agreement prior to using the Site.
